Terms and Conditions

1. Object

1.1 These General Conditions are intended to explain the terms and conditions that will regulate the provision of the Website/Online Store Service of JULCAR MOBILIARIO INTEGRADO, SA, with registered office at Estrada Real, nº 76 – Águeda, under the unique registration and legal entity identification number nº. 501140263, hereinafter referred to as JULCAR.

1.2 By accessing, using, or making a purchase of any product from JULCAR’s Online Store, you fully and unreservedly accept all provisions included in the Terms and Conditions, as in force at the time you access the Website.

1.3 Users may use the Site without registering. However, some features of the Site may be dependent on registration.

2. Product Information, Prices, and Content

2.1 The site offers products from JULCAR. The information about products presented on the Site is intended only to provide a brief informative summary for the visitor’s convenience.

2.2 JULCAR reserves the right to modify, without prior notice and at any time, the information and commercial offers related to: products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions, and services.

2.3 Images illustrating each product on JULCAR may differ from the product subsequently delivered. These images are for illustrative purposes only and are also subject to stock availability.

2.4 JULCAR will not be responsible for discontinued items.

2.5 Despite JULCAR’s efforts, some products, due to their intrinsic characteristics, may have inaccurate prices. Therefore, the company verifies prices whenever processing orders. Consequently, the prices shown on JULCAR are indicative and do not constitute a contractual offer. If the actual price of the product is lower than the advertised price, JULCAR will refund the difference. If the price is higher, JULCAR will notify the customer by email and await their decision to accept the new price or cancel the order within 15 days from the date the email was sent.

2.6 JULCAR will make all reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information about products on the Site. However, it cannot guarantee this.

2.7 Under Portuguese legislation, all prices presented on JULCAR include the applicable VAT at the legal rate in force unless otherwise stated.

2.8 Promotions advertised on the JULCAR Website/Online Store may not apply to JULCAR’s physical location.

2.9 JULCAR reserves the right to change or delete any information on the Site at any time without prior notice.

3. Ordering and Payment

3.1 JULCAR provides the option on the Site for users to add multiple products from the JULCAR collection to a shopping list.

3.2 After confirming an order with JULCAR.will be sent an email to your email address registered by the costumer, with all details about delivery, invoices, payment information, products and prices. JULCAR suggests that all customers confirm the details. If the customer does not receive the order confirmation email, they should contact JULCAR through the contact details provided on the Website/Online Store so that JULCAR can send a new notification to the customer’s email address.

3.2 If there is an error in the information provided by the customer in the order and/or if the customer wishes to change any information, provided the order has not yet been dispatched, it is requested that the customer contact JULCAR through the contact details available on the Website/Online Store as soon as possible so that the possibility of making the requested change can be assessed internally. All changes to order information must be reviewed by the JULCAR.team.

3.3 All orders at JULCAR will only be processed after payment confirmation. The formalization of the order, without payment made, does not constitute a reservation of the products.

3.4 If an order cannot be fulfilled in part or in full, the customer will be contacted by JULCAR.

3.5 All orders placed with. JULCAR have a maximum payment period of 8 days. After this period, the order will be automatically cancelled.

3.7 Payments on the JULCAR Website/Online Store are accepted via Multibanco Reference and MBWAY (both for customers with a bank account in Portugal), as well as credit card and PayPal.

3.8 Order statuses at JULCAR are classified into 3 phases: Pending, In Processing, and Completed:

Pending – Awaiting payment receipt in JULCAR’s system;

b) In Processing – The payment has been received, and the order is being processed and prepared;

c) Completed – The order has been dispatched.

4. Shipping Costs

4.1 The prices shown for products do not include the respective shipping costs, which are calculated based on the sum of two factors: packing cost and transport cost. The transport cost depends on the weight of the order and the delivery destination. The shipping cost can be estimated in the shopping cart with the desired products added and all fields completed in the estimator. The total shipping cost can also be automatically calculated when placing your order on the Website/Online Store. Note that these calculation factors may change without prior notice as they depend on factors beyond JULCAR’s control.

5. Shipments and Deliveries/Pick-Up at JULCAR's Headquarters

5.1 To have orders shipped to the requested address, the shipping option must be selected – National Shipping (for Portugal) and International Shipping (for other countries outside Portugal).

5.2 Generally, after dispatch, JULCAR order takes the following time to be delivered:

– Up to 72 hours in mainland Portugal;

– Between 5 to 9 working days in the Madeira and Azores Islands;

These times are indicative.

5.3 After dispatching orders, the tracking information will be available in the accounts of customers who have registered and an email notification with the tracking link will also be sent to all registered and unregistered customers.
If for any reason the customer does not receive the shipping confirmation, they should contact JULCAR through the provided contact details to have all available shipping information resent.

5.4 After receiving the shipping notification, customers should track the shipment using the link provided by JULCAR to stay informed of its status until the order is delivered. JULCAR does not notify every change in the shipment status.

5.5 All products shipped by JULCAR should be checked upon delivery. If the customer finds that the order is damaged, they should immediately return it to the transport company, properly state the reason for return on the transporter’s delivery slip, and promptly notify JULCAR through the contact details available on the Website/Online Store.

5.6 If after delivery, the customer finds that any items are not in conformity, they should immediately contact JULCAR via email

providing the order number or the document number that accompanied the order, and include images of the packaging as received and all items so that an internal investigation can be initiated and the anomaly resolved as quickly as possible.

5.7 Customers are responsible for any potential seizure of their orders, as well as payment of customs duties if applicable. If in doubt, customers may contact JULCAR before ordering.

5.8 JULCAR has contracted specialised carriers for deliveries in Portugal, Europe, and most countries worldwide. Every effort is made to meet dispatch and delivery times; however, possible delays in deliveries may be beyond JULCAR’s control, and exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed in such cases.

5.9 Most deliveries are made during business hours on weekdays to the delivery address specified by the customer when placing the order.

5.10 When delivery is unsuccessful due to the recipient’s absence, a delivery notice is always left in the customer’s mailbox with the carrier’s instructions. Depending on the service and the carrier, orders should be collected from a location indicated in the notice, or the instructions in the notice should be followed.

5.11 If for any reason the customer cannot receive the order or collect it from the location indicated by the carrier, they are requested to contact JULCAR to find the most suitable solution together.

5.12 Before placing the order, if the customer wishes to collect it from our premises, they should select the “Pick-Up at JULCAR’s premises” shipping option.

a) Only the person identified on the order note will be authorised to collect the order, unless they notify JULCAR in advance that another person (identifying the name) will collect the order.

b) Orders for pick-up at JULCAR’s premises may take 1 working day to process; all customers will be notified by email when these are ready for collection.

c) When visiting JULCAR‘s physical premises, the customer should bring the order confirmation/number, ensuring they have received our order confirmation notification available for collection, to avoid unnecessary trips.

6. Applicable Law

6.1 JULCAR recognises all its customers’ right to contract cancellation, allowing them to return products within 14 (fourteen) days of purchase in accordance with Decree-Law No. 143/2001 of April 26 (as amended) and Decree-Law No. 82/2008 of May 20.

6.2 For exchanges or returns, customers are requested to contact JULCAR via EMAIL indicating the order number or the document that accompanied the order, taking into account the following conditions:

a) To return an order, the product must be in perfect condition, and if applicable, in its original packaging, with accessories or promotional offers included, and accompanied by proof of purchase or invoice.

b) Returns of defective products and incorrect shipments will be accepted, with JULCAR covering shipping and collection costs provided the customer reports this situation within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the product.

c) Once the goods are received at JULCAR‘s premises, and after validating their condition, the value will be refunded according to the payment method used by the customer, or another solution will be agreed upon with the customer.

6.3 JULCAR assumes responsibility for defects originating from the product’s source or raw materials. If such defects are confirmed by JULCAR’s specialist team, the product will be exchanged or refunded at no cost to the customer.

6.4 JULCAR will not accept the return of a product after it has been used, or if it has been altered or modified.

6.5 JULCAR is not responsible for deficiencies resulting from incorrect use, negligence, poor storage conditions or force majeure.

7. Applicable Law

7.1 All purchases made on the JULCAR website are subject to Portuguese law. Any disputes or interpretations of the Terms and Conditions that require judicial recourse will fall under the jurisdiction of the Judicial Court of the Águeda District, with explicit waiver of any other jurisdiction.

7.2 If the Customer is located outside Mainland Portugal, JULCAR hereby informs that any legal proceedings will be exclusively the responsibility of the Judicial Court of the Águeda District, with explicit waiver of any other jurisdiction.

These general online sales conditions may be changed without prior notice and should therefore be reviewed before placing any order.
